Why is it that my UK Amazon sales are beating my U.S. sales for the month of September? First of all, to explain, I have some short stories for sale on Amazon.com (http://amazon.com/author/edgosney). You can read them on a Kindle or via the Kindle app on most devices. My stories don’t sell many copies (except the couple times I offered 2 of them for free for five days…lots of downloads then), but it seems sort of funny to me that in the current month we are in, my United Kingdom fans (this is definitely a joke, as I don’t think I have any fans!) are buying up my stories over the U.S. fans by a 3 to 1 margin (meaning that 3 stories have sold in the U.K. to 1 in the U.S – the 3 to 1 margin sounds better though, doesn’t it?).
So a big shout out and thank you to all of you across the Atlantic, from which much of my ancestors’ blood has come. Before the end of the year I should have my novel ready for Kindle and hard copies via CreateSpace. It will be interesting to see which country buys the majority.
